ASU Space Grant is headed by Dr. Thomas Sharp, Professor, School of Earth and Space Exploration. In an effort to involve more faculty and research projects, faculty are asked to submit an application outlining their research as it relates to Earth and Space Science. All mentor applications are due by Friday, May 16th at noon.
Student applications are solicited separately, for either undergraduate internships or graduate fellowships. All Space Grant fellows and interns are expected to participate in community education as part of their Space Grant activities.
The deadline for Graduate applications for the 2008/2009 academic year was April 21st. Applications for next year will be available Spring, 2009.
The deadline for Undergraduate internships for the 2008/2009 academic year was May 9th. Applications for next year will be available Spring, 2009
Applications are ranked by a diverse steering committee that match the best applicants to the participating faculty. Be sure to check the website periodically for updates and program opportunities.
